Social Medicine Essay Contest

The Global Social Medicine Network is delighted to announce an exciting opportunity to participate in an essay contest.

We invite submissions of essays of no more than 2500 words on the topic of

THE FUTURE OF SOCIAL MEDICINE

The Steering Committee of the Global Social Medicine network will select 5 winners who will be awarded each a cash prize of £2,000. The committee is intending to publish the 5 essays in an appropriate venue.

The contest is open to all postgraduate students, with preference given to students based in the Global South. A virtual event will be organized later this year to announce the winners.

Students are encouraged to consider the challenges and opportunities of social medicine.
