Social Medicine From The South

A discussion that rethinks the set of relations so frequently described as ’North/South’ in social medicine
What would it mean to make the so-called ‘South’ the location from which we enter a conversation about social medicine? And, conversely, what would it mean to make social medicine the location from which we enter a conversation about the ‘South’? In the course of two panels, we envisage a discussion that is less about a region than one that rethinks the set of relations so frequently described as ’North/South,’ and foregrounds diverse social medicine movements. Please join us for a lively, informal conversation and an opportunity to think social medicine together.
